The Metropolitan Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption, also known as St Mary's Metropolitan Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic church in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is the seat of the Archbishop of Saint Andrews and Edinburgh and is the mother church of the Archdiocese of St Andrews and Edinburgh. The cathedral church is located in the section of Broughton Street between York Place and Leith Street in the East End of the New Town in the city centre.
