South Canaan is a second-class township in Wayne County, Pennsylvania, United States. The township's population was 1,768 at the time of the 2010 United States Census.
South Canaan is home to Saint Tikhon's Orthodox Theological Seminary and the oldest Eastern Orthodox monastery in North America — Saint Tikhon's Orthodox Monastery (Russian: Тихоновский монастырь).
