Sophie de Lafont

Sophie de Lafont (also known as Sofya Ivanovna de Lafon; Russian: Софья Ивановна де Лафон; née Dubuisson; August 1717 – August 1797) was a Russian pedagogue of French descent. She was the principal of the Smolny Institute in Saint Petersburg from 1764 to 1797.
