Smertnik

Smertnik (Russian: смертник, lit. 'condemned man') was the pejorative nickname used by Red Army personnel during the Soviet invasion of Manchuria (August 1945) for infantrymen of the Imperial Japanese Army that launched suicide attacks against Soviet armored columns.
