Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Chicago is a water park in Gurnee, Illinois, United States, next to the Six Flags Great America amusement park. Owned and operated by Six Flags, the water park opened on May 28, 2005. It was built as part of a US$42 million expansion of the amusement park. The water park has been separately gated from Six Flags Great America since 2021.
Spanning 20 acres (8.1 ha), the water park has 25 water slides, two pools, and a themed area named Riptide Bay. The park's most recent addition, Tsunami Surge, opened in 2021 and currently holds the record as the tallest water coaster in North America as of 2025. The water park has received accolades from the World Waterpark Association and Amusement Today's Golden Ticket Awards.
