Sir Richard Peter Moore KCMG (born 9 May 1963) is a British intelligence officer, civil servant and diplomat who served as Chief of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) from 2020 to 2025. He previously served as Director General, Political at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office from 2018 to 2020 and was the British ambassador to Turkey from 2014 to 2017.
