Sir George Downing, 3rd Baronet

Sir George Downing, 3rd Baronet KB MP (1685 – 10 June 1749) was a British landowner and politician who represented Dunwich in the House of Commons of Great Britain between 1710 and 1749. Through a donation in his will, he was the founder of Downing College, Cambridge.
