Shogo Akiyama (秋山 翔吾, Akiyama Shōgo; Japanese pronunciation: [akiꜜjama ɕoꜜːɡo], born April 16, 1988) is a Japanese professional baseball outfielder for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cincinnati Reds and in NPB for the Saitama Seibu Lions.
