Shevrin D. Jones (born October 12, 1983) is an American educator and politician who has served as the Florida state senator for the 34th District since 2020. A member of the Democratic Party, he served in the Florida House of Representatives, representing the 101st District, from 2012 to 2020.
Jones is the first gay person and first LGBT Black person elected to the Florida Senate. Term-limited from his position, he ran for the Florida Senate in a crowded primary for District 35 facing no Republican opposition in the general election.
