Shenington is a village in the civil parish of Shenington with Alkerton, in the Cherwell district of Oxfordshire, England. It is about 5 miles (8 km) west of Banbury. Shenington was an exclave of Gloucestershire until 1844, when it was transferred to Oxfordshire. Shenington is on Oxfordshire's boundary with Warwickshire.
