The Seven Network (commonly known as Channel Seven or simply Seven) is one of Australia's five main free-to-air television networks. It is owned by Southern Cross Media Group and is headquartered in Sydney.
In 2014, Seven was the second-largest television network in Australia in terms of population reach. Seven Network broadcasts various non-fiction shows such as news broadcasts (Seven News) and sports programming, as well as fiction shows. During the 2011 ratings season, Seven achieved the highest total-viewer ratings across all 40 weeks of the ratings year. It was the first network to accomplish this since the introduction of the OzTAM ratings system in 2001.
As of 2025, Seven Network is the highest-rated television network in Australia according to VOZ, ranking ahead of the Nine Network, ABC TV, Network 10, and SBS.
