Schwenckia juncoides

Schwenckia juncoides is a species of flowering plant in the Solanaceae. It is native to south-central Brazil and Paraguay. It is a perennial plant or helophyte that primarily grows in seasonally dry tropical biomes, often occurring in open vegetation and savanna habitats. Schwenckia juncoides was first described by the Swiss botanist Robert Hippolyte Chodat and published in Bulletin de la Société Botanique de Genève, series 2, volume 8, page 159 (1916).
