Schwaan (German pronunciation: [ʃvaːn] ⓘ) is a municipality in the Rostock district, in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. It is also the seat of the Schwaan Township, serving another six municipalities.
The town is famous for being a traditional art colony.
