The 1962 recording by Nancy Wilson on the album Nancy Wilson/Cannonball Adderley brought the song to wider notice, and it has become part of the jazz standards repertoire.

Etta Jones, who had sung with Buddy Johnson in 1944, made the song the title track of her 1981 album Save Your Love for Me and re-recorded it for her 1998 album My Buddy: Etta Jones Sings the Songs of Buddy Johnson.
