Sarah Hurwitz (born 1980 or 1981) is an American speechwriter. A senior speechwriter for President Barack Obama in 2009 and 2010, and head speechwriter for Michelle Obama from 2010 to 2017, she was appointed to serve on the United States Holocaust Memorial Council by Barack Obama shortly before he left the White House.
