Meskheti (Georgian: მესხეთი [me̞s̪χe̞t̪ʰi], Turkish: Meshetya) or Samtskhe (Georgian: სამცხე [s̪ämt̪͡s̪ʰχe̞]), also known as Moschia in ancient sources, is a mountainous area in southwestern Georgia.
