The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 (stylized as Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 and sold as Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 in certain territories) is an Android-based foldable smartphone developed by Samsung Electronics for its Galaxy Z series, succeeding the Galaxy Fold. It was announced on August 5, 2020 alongside the Galaxy Note 20, the Galaxy Tab S7, the Galaxy Buds Live, and the Galaxy Watch 3 during the Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung later revealed pricing and availability details on September 1, before being progressively released to all major markets on September 18.
On October 9, 2024, Samsung stopped security updates to the phone.
