Salses-le-Château (French pronunciation: [sals lə ʃato] ⓘ; Occitan: Salses lo Castèl; Catalan: Salses) or just Salses is a commune in the Pyrénées-Orientales department in southern France. It is located north of the city of Perpignan. It is traditionally considered as the northernmost point of the Catalan Countries (the lands in which Catalan language is spoken).
