Sallama (also known as Salamah, Egyptian Arabic: سلامه) is an Egyptian film starring Umm Kulthum. It is directed by Togo Mizrahi. The film is written by Bayram al-Tunisi (screenplay) and Ali Ahmad Bakathir (story). Sallama film tells the story of a love affair during the Umayyad Caliphate between a devout man and a slave girl from Mecca named Sallama.
