Sachchidanand Vishnu Ghate (14 December 1896 – 28 November 1970), also known as S.V. Ghate, was a freedom fighter émigré and first General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI). The Communist Party of India's Karnataka State headquarters, Ghate Bhavan, is named in his honor.
