S-Methyl methanethiosulfonate, also known as MMTS, is an organosulfur compound with the chemical formula CH3−SO2−S−CH3. It is the S-methyl ester of methanethiosulfonic acid. It is a colorless liquid. It is obtained by condensation of methanesulfonic acid with methanethiol.
