Sânpetru Mare ("Great St. Peter"; Hungarian: Nagyszentpéter; German: Groß St. Peter; Serbian: Велики Семпетар, romanizedVeliki Sempetar) is a commune in Timiș County, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Igriș and Sânpetru Mare (commune seat). It also included the village of Saravale until it was split off to form a separate commune in 2004. The village of Sânpetru Mic ("Little St. Peter") is in the neighboring commune of Variaș.
