S&box (pronounced Sandbox) is an upcoming open source video game development platform and engine by Facepunch Studios. It is built using a heavily modified Source 2 engine and will be officially released in April 2026. S&box is intended to be a spiritual successor to Garry's Mod and is designed to allow users to create a variety of games and experiences.
