Ryan Michael Fazio (born March 27, 1990) is an American businessman and politician who is a member of the Connecticut State Senate for the 36th district. A member of the Republican Party, he won election in 2021 following the resignation of Democratic member Alexandra Kasser, and was re-elected in 2022 and 2024.
In 2023, Fazio co-authored legislation requiring electric utilities to separately itemize the public benefits charge on customer bills, increasing transparency around the cost of state-mandated energy and environmental programs included in monthly utility rates.
He is currently a candidate for Connecticut Governor in 2026. Fazio crossed the $250,000 threshold necessary to qualify for Connecticut's public financing system at the fastest rate in state history.
