Ryūka

Ryūka (琉歌; Okinawan: Ryūka) lit. "Ryūkyū song/poem" is a genre of songs and poetry originating from the Okinawa Islands, Okinawa Prefecture of southwestern Japan. Most ryūka featured the 8-8-8-6 syllable structure.
