The Diocese of Scranton (Latin: Dioecesis Scrantonensis) is a diocese of the Catholic Church in northeastern Pennsylvania in the United States. It is a suffragan see of Archdiocese of Philadelphia, established on March 3, 1868. The mother church is St. Peter's Cathedral in Scranton.
