Robert Thompson (born February 4, 1960) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Michigan Wolverines from 1979 to 1982 before playing in the NFL for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions.
