Richard C. Irvin is an American lawyer and politician who served as the mayor of Aurora, Illinois. In 2025, he lost his re-election campaign to the Democratic Party candidate, alderman John Laesch. In 2022, he sought the Republican nomination for Illinois Governor. A Gulf War veteran, Irvin has worked as an educator and prosecutor.
