The Red Square Christmas Market (Russian: Рождественская ярмарка на Красной площади, romanizedRozhdestvyenskaya yarmarka na Krasnoy ploshchadi) or Red Square New Year's Market (Russian: Новигодная ярмарка на Красной площади, romanizedNovigodnaya yarmarka na Krasnoy ploshchadi), officially the GUM-Fair (Russian: ГУМ-ярмарка, romanizedGUM-yarmarka), is an annually held Christmas market at the Red Square in Moscow, Russia, run by the GUM department store that operates daily from December 11th to March 1st. It's the most popular place to visit and buy New Year's gifts from in the winter in Russia and also the largest fair, with up to 63 stands attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.
