Ras Sedr (Egyptian Arabic: راس سدر) is an Egyptian town located on the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea coast. It is a part of the South Sinai Governorate, and consists of three areas: Wadi Sedr, Abu Sedr and Soerp. The region has been known since the time of the ancient Egyptians. It is increasingly visited by tourists, it consists of three regions: Wadi Sedr, Sedr, and Abu Suwayra. The town is characterized by its moderate climate throughout the year and the presence of many tourist resorts and sulfur springs that are famous for their therapeutic benefits.
