Quatuor Coronati Lodge

Quatuor Coronati Lodge No. 2076 is an UGLE-chartered lodge that meets at Freemasons' Hall, London. It is widely considered the premier lodge of Masonic research in the world. Its purpose since its founding in 1886 has been to replace the speculative and romantic histories of Freemasonry with a new standard of evidence-based, academic inquiry.

The lodge's founding marked a significant turning point in Masonic historiography, establishing a methodology known as the "authentic school of research." It is renowned for its annual journal, Ars Quatuor Coronatorum, and its global membership group, the Quatuor Coronati Correspondence Circle (QCCC), which was created to disseminate its research internationally.
