Prosleptic syllogism

Prosleptic syllogisms (/prəˈslɛptɪk/; from Greek πρόσληψις proslepsis "taking in addition") are a class of syllogisms that use a prosleptic proposition as one of the premises.

The term originated with Theophrastus.
