Table d'hôte

In restaurant terminology, a table d'hôte (French pronunciation: [tabl d‿ot], lit.'host's table') is a type of menu in which a multi-course meal is offered at a fixed total price, usually with limited choices for each course. This format allows diners to select from a small number of options while paying a single set price for the entire meal.

Such menus are often referred to as prix fixe (French pronunciation: [pʁi fiks], lit.'fixed price'). The terms set meal and set menu are also commonly used in English to describe a similar concept.

Table d'hôte contrasts with à la carte, in which individual menu items are listed and priced separately, allowing customers to order each dish independently.
