Privy Council of the Habsburg Netherlands

The Privy Council or Secret Council (Dutch: Geheime Raad, French: Conseil Privé) was one of the highest government institutions of the Habsburg Netherlands. Based in Brussels, it was particularly charged with legal and administrative questions.
