Pompignan (French pronunciation: [pɔ̃piɲɑ̃]; Occitan: Pompinhan) is a commune in the Gard department in the Occitania region of Southern France. It is situated on the departmental border with Hérault, 30 km (18.6 mi) north of Montpellier.
