Pavlo Hryhorovych Tychyna (Ukrainian: Павло Григорович Тичина; 23 January [O.S. 11 January] 1891 – September 16, 1967) was a major Ukrainian poet, translator, publicist, public activist, academician, and statesman. He composed the lyrics of the Anthem of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic.
