Paul Gavin Johnson CBE FAcSS (born 5 January 1967) is a British economist. Since 2025, he has been the provost of The Queen's College, Oxford. He served as director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies from 2011 until 2025. He is also a columnist for The Times, and a visiting professor in Economics at the Department of Economics, University College London. He is author of the best selling book Follow the Money and a frequent contributor to written and broadcast media.
