Patrick Verkooijen

Patrick V. D. J. Verkooijen (born May 21, 1969) is a Dutch executive and academic who served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Global Center on Adaptation from 2018 to 2026 and has served as Chancellor of the University of Nairobi since 2024. He is known for work on climate adaptation in international development, finance, and governance, and climate resilience in public policy and investment.
