Panhtwar (Burmese: ပန်ထွာ) was the legendary queen regnant of Beikthano, the ancient city of the Pyu Kingdom. She was considered to be a strong, spiritual lady of war and fame. Queen Panhtwar became a heroine figure in Burmese culture, and stories of her are commonly told to small children.
