Panathenaic Way was the main thoroughfare of ancient Athens. It ran from the outskirts of the city directly to the Acropolis, passing through the Agora of Athens, and serving as the primary route for the Panathenaic procession. The ancient sources refer to the Way either as either a dromos or a Street of Panathenaia.
