Padma is a village in the Padma CD block in the Barhi subdivision of the Hazaribagh district in the Indian state of Jharkhand.> Padma is historically known for the Padma Fort (also called Padma Kila or Hawamahal), which served as the seat of the Ramgarh Raj family during the British period. The estate was largely managed by 𝗕𝗛𝗨𝗠𝗜𝗛𝗔𝗥 𝗝𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗥 families, who played a significant role in local administration and revenue collection in Hazaribagh region.
