PSSI Primavera was a developmental football team composed of Indonesian youth national team players, primarily aged between 17 and 23. The team competed in the Italian youth league Campionato Nazionale Primavera during the mid-1990s as part of a cooperative program between the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) and Italian football authorities.

The initiative was established to improve the technical, tactical, and professional development of young Indonesian players by exposing them to European football training methods and competitive environments. Unlike conventional football clubs, PSSI Primavera functioned as a national development program rather than an independent club, with its squad drawn directly from Indonesia’s youth national team setup.

During its participation in the Campionato Nazionale Primavera, PSSI Primavera faced youth teams from Italian professional clubs. Although the team struggled to achieve significant competitive success, the program is regarded as one of Indonesia’s most ambitious overseas football development projects of the era. Several participants later went on to play key roles in Indonesian football as players, coaches, and administrators.

The project was eventually discontinued in the late 1990s following organizational and structural changes within Indonesian football, as well as shifting priorities in youth development strategies.
