Ozubulu ⓘ is a larger town in Anambra State, Nigeria. It is the headquarters of the Ekwusigo Local Government Area.
The town has an official post office.
Its neighbouring towns are Nnewi, Ukpor, Ihembosi, Okija, Ogbaru, Atani and Oraifite.
The native religion is Omenana; ancestral worship of idols. After colonialism by the British, many converted to Christianity, but many respect Omenana.
The town has four major communities: Amakwa, Egbema, Eziora, and Nza. According to the history Amakwa is the first born while Nza is the last born.
Ozubulu became well known after the Ozubulu massacre which took place in 2017. It happened in St. Philips Catholic Church, Amakwa , Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area, Anambra State during Sunday mass. The Ozubulu massacre news went viral across Nigeria, and many instantly became aware of Ozubulu town's existence.
