The Orlík Killers were a gang of Czech serial killers who, between 1991 and 1993, killed five people (mostly businessmen) for monetary gain. One gang member committed an additional murder on his own and also attempted one more — he wanted to acquire the victim's apartment, but she survived by sheer luck.
The murderers would stuff their victims' bodies in barrels, dissolve them in lye and then throw them into the Orlík Reservoir, an idea initially proposed by Vladimír Kuna.
