Ophidiophobia
Ophidiophobia (/əˌfɪdioʊˈfoʊbiə/) or ophiophobia (/ˌoʊfioʊˈfoʊbiə/) is fear of snakes. It is sometimes called by the more general term herpetophobia, fear of reptiles. The word comes from the Ancient Greek: ὄφις, romanized: óphis, lit. 'snake', and φοβία, phobía, 'fear'.
