Oberweid (German pronunciation: [ˈoːbɐvaɪt], lit. 'Upper Weid', in contrast to "Lower Weid") is a municipality in the district Schmalkalden-Meiningen, in Thuringia, Germany. It is part of the Hohe Rhön administrative community, which has its administrative centre in the municipality of Kaltennordheim.
