Noura Saleh Erakat (/ˈnʊərə ˈsælə ˈɛrəkæt/ NOOR-ə SAL-ə ERR-ə-kat; Arabic: نورة صالح عريقات, romanized: Nūra Ṣāliḥ ʿUrayqāt, Palestinian Arabic: ʿRēqāt; born January 16, 1980) is a Palestinian-American activist, university professor, legal scholar, and human rights attorney. She is currently a professor at Rutgers University, specializing in international studies. She is the co-founder of the online publication Jadaliyya. Her primary focus is on international law, human rights, and the Israeli–Palestinian conflict. She is a vocal critic of Israel and a prominent public commentator on Palestinian legal and political issues. Erakat has authored academic articles and the book, Justice for Some: Law and the Question of Palestine.
