Nick Pope (born 1965) is a regular guest on one of History Channel’s longest running series Ancient Aliens. In addition, he is an English media commentator, author, and former civil servant. Whilst an employee at the British Government's Ministry of Defence (MoD), Pope was responsible, among other duties, for investigating UFO phenomena to determine if they had any defence significance. In February 2026, he announced he had Stage IV cancer which had metastasized.
