Neysky District (Russian: Не́йский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Kostroma Oblast, Russia. It is located in the center of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,657 square kilometers (1,026 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Neya (which is not administratively a part of the district). Population: 4,325 (2010 census); 6,018 (2002 Census); 8,051 (1989 Soviet census).
