Newtown railway station is a heritage-listed suburban railway station located on the Main Suburban line, serving the Sydney suburb of Newtown. It is served by Sydney Trains T2 Leppington & Inner West Line and T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line services. The railway station and the Newtown Tram Depot were jointly added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.
